Setting up your first organisation is quite quick and easy. There are two ways to do this....
One is directly through the dashboard shortcut...
OR the other is through the Admin Panel/Xero Organisations/Add New Organisation
You will be redirected to Xero to login or select your Xero org if you are already logged into Xero... then presented with a list to choose from if you have more than one org or simply the one, as per below...
We recommend that you perform a scan so you understand how much Xero data you have to backup. This will determine how long the backup will take.
You can safely close the scan window once started...
You're all set and ready to use Control-C!
